Phillip Peter Joseph, age 66, was born June 23, 1951 to Richard Henry Joseph and Rosalie Joseph in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Phillip departed this life on March 25, 2018 in Grand Rapids, Michigan and was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister; Barbara Jean Cooper.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife; Sharral, daughter; Ronda Mayberry-Joseph, step-children; Cary J. Floyd and Stacey Byrom-Floyd, brothers; Raymond (Deborah) Burke, Maurice (Darlene) Joseph and Billy Joseph, sisters; Jacqueline Oliver-Joseph, Marylyn Haycraft-Joseph, Joycelyn Robinson-Joseph and Maxine Weaver-Torres, 7 grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Public visitation will be held on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Ivy K. Gillespie Memorial Chapel, 1865 Eastern Ave SE, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, April 2, 2018 at St. Luke AME Zion, 101 Delaware SE, at 12:00 noon. Friends may meet with the family one hour prior to services at 11:00 AM.
