Alvin Garcia Pitts, age 59, was born December 2, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan.

He departed this life on November 26, 2016 and was preceded in death by his parents and son; Derrelle Filsaime.

Alvin leaves to cherish his memory his wife; Theresa Pitts, children; Jacob Walton, Sinclair Filsaime, Tawanna Pitts, Teara Pitts, LaKeita Pitts and Brandy Juengain, brothers; Timothy Pitts, Larry Owens and Donald Owens, 1 sister; Iris Pitts, 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

Public viewing will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Ivy K. Gillespie Memorial Chapel, 1865 Eastern Ave SE, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, December 2, 2016 at Ivy K. Gillespie Memorial Chapel at 11:00 AM. Friends may meet with the family one hour prior to services at 10:00 AM.
