Obituary for Rosie Lee Moore

Rosie Lee White, age 83, was born December 16, 1932 in West Helena, Arkansas to Eddie Lee Mathews and Irene Mathews.

Rosie departed this life on November 14, 2016 in Grand Rapids, Michigan and was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Edward Moore, 1 brother; Walter Jackson and 2 sisters; Essie Mae Washington and Addie Mae Allen.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children; Roosevelt Brown and Thelma Pegram, 3 brothers; Eddie Lee Mathews, A.D. Mathews and Joseph Mathews, 13 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, other family and friends.

Public visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Ivy K. Gillespie Memorial Chapel, 1865 Eastern Ave. SE, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Resurrection Fellowship Church, 321 Valley NW, at 11:00 AM. Friends may meet with the family one hour prior to services at 10:00 AM.
