Obituary for Richard Lavone Naves

Richard Lavone Naves, age 59, was born January 22, 1957 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his father; James D. Naves.

Richard leaves to cherish his memory his wife; Paris Naves, 2 sons; Richard L. Naves and Markus J. Naves, 3 daughters; Antoinette L. (Rodger) Freeman, Ebony S. Naves and Skylar C. Naves, his mother; Harriette Naves, 4 brothers; Garry Naves, Terry Naves, Prentice Naves and Samuel (Toni) Naves, 3 sisters; Mattie Thomas, Georgette (Andre) Jones and Pearl L. Naves, 5 grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Public visitation will be held on Friday, February 26, 2016 at Ivy K. Gillespie Memorial Chapel, 1865 Eastern Ave. SE, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Lighthouse Full Life Center, 2415 Madison Ave. SE, at 1:00 PM. Friends may meet with the family one hour prior to services at 12:00 noon.
