Doris Ann Archie, age 48, was born January 19, 1967 to Joseph Sr. and Earnestine Archie in Belzoni, Mississippi.

Doris departed this life on July 9, 2015 and was preceded in death by her parents.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son; Michael Archie, 3 daughters; Angela, Keisha and Brittney Archie, 7 brothers; Charles (Jackie), John, Robert (Diana), Joseph Jr., Joseph, I, Danny (Teresa) and Donnie Archie, 5 sisters; Dorothy Gaines, Jackie Archie, Harriett Rucker, Earnestine Teague and Audray (Derrick) Morris, 3 grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Public visitation will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Ivy K. Gillespie Memorial Chapel, 1865 Eastern Ave SE, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, July 17, 2015 at Ivy K. Gillespie Memorial Chapel at 12:00 Noon. Friends may meet with the family one hour prior to services at 11:00 am.
