Yvette departed this life on December 1, 2014 and leaves to cherish her memory her husband; Reuben Roberts, Jr., her parents; Willie Friend, Jr. and Hosie Woods, and 2 sisters; Yvonne M. Friend-Fields (Bruce) and Yolanda T. Friend and a host of other family and friends.

Public visitation is scheduled for Friday, December 5, 2014 and Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Ivy K. Gillespie Memorial Chapel, 1865 Eastern Ave. SE from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM on both days. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, December 8, 2014 at New Hope Baptist Church, 130 Delaware St., at 11:00 AM. Friends may meet with the family one hour prior to services at 10:00 AM.
