Shirley went to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 21, 2019. She was preceded in death by her father; Lawrence Taylor. She leaves behind her legacy to her mother; Bessie Lee Rowzee, 1 son; Ronald Phillip Jr., 2 daughters; Latyra Phillips, and Lashell Moore(Demetrius), 3 brothers; Michael Rowzee, Fredrick Rowzee, and Reginald Rowzee, 2 sisters; Sharon Walker, and Vanessa Rowzee, 5 grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
Public visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Ivy K Gillespie Memorial Chapel, 1865 Eastern Avenue SE. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, March 28, 2019 at New Life C.O.G.I.C., 1072 Jefferson Avenue, at 12:00 PM. Friends may meet with the family one hour prior to services at 11:00 AM.
