Wayne Raynard Harris Sr., age 59, was born July 10, 1959 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Enell Harris and Rebecca Ann Harris.
Wayne went to be with his lord Saturday, February 02, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind his legacy to 1 son; Wayne Raynard Harris Jr., 3 daughters; Kiva Brewer, Constance Chana Harris, and Nakisha McGowan, 4 brothers; Howard Harris Sr., Lawrence Robert Harris Sr., Rodney Enell Harris, and Joe Nathan Harris Sr., 2 sisters; Wanda Gean Barrentine/Stanton, and Lantonya Harris, 4 grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
Public visitation will be held Friday, February 15, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ivy K Gillespie Memorial Chapel, 1865 Eastern Avenue SE. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 60 Dennis Avenue SE, at 12:00 PM. Friends may meet with the family a hour prior at 11:00 AM.
