Barry Brownridge Jr. was born July 17, 1944 in West Point, Mississippi to Barry Sr. and Doris Brownridge.
Barry went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; Barry and Ann Brownridge, two brothers; Bernard Brownridge and Sonny Brownridge.
He leaves behind his legacy to his wife; Doris Brownridge, two sons; Derrick Brownridge and Byran Carter, one daughter; Brittany Roland, one brother; Joe Brownridge, one sister; Anna Belle Brownridge Ruffin, 20 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Public visitation will be held on Sunday, January 06, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Ivy K. Gillespie Memorial Chapel, 1865 Eastern Ave SE. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, January 07, 2019 at New Hope Baptist Church, 130 Delaware SW, at 11:00 AM. Friends may meet with the family a hour prior to services at 10:00 AM.
