Filipa Lamoine Smith-Jones, age 53, was born November, 10, 1965 in Jackson, Michigan to Philip Smith and Elyse Evon Smith-Jones.

Filipa went to be with her lord Wednesday, November 28, 2018. She was preceded in death by her father; Philip Smith. She leaves behind her legacy to her husband; Sebastian Antonio Jones, her mother; Elyse Evon Smith-Jones, 2 daughters; Jasmine Samone Jones, and Jayla Mone' Jones, 1 brother; Richard L Smith(Lea Smith), 2 sisters; Colette Brooks, and Kim Settle, special friends; Camilla Carter, Sabrina, Debbie Williams, Rafael Shamsideen, Linda Collins, and Angie, and a host of other family and friends.

Public visitation will be held Friday, December 07, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ivy K Gillespie Memorial Chapel, 1865 Eastern Avenue SE. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, December 08, 2018 at Ivy K Gillespie Memorial Chapel, at 11:00 AM. Friends may meet with the family a hour prior to service at 10:00 AM.
