Velma Robinson, age 87, was born October 5, 1931 in McClinton, MIssissippi to Percy and Otha Robinson.

Velma was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons; Fred Alexander and Rodney Robinson, 3 brothers; Leonard Robinson, Claude Robinson and Wilbert Robinson and 1 sister; Sheletha Sterling.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children; Huemartin Robinson, Sr. (Joycelyn Joseph-Robinson), Eno Utouko "Brenda Robinson", Anne Alexander, Valerie Robinson, Richard Sterling, Reginald Sterling, Rochella Robinson and Archie Sterling (Diane), 17 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, October 22, 2018 at Ivy K. Gillespie Memorial Chapel, 1865 Eastern Ave SE, at 12:00 Noon. Friends may meet with the family one hour prior to services at 11:00 AM.
