William departed this life on October 3, 2018 in Grand Rapids,MI and was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son; Jalen Michael and 2 brothers; Joe Larkin and Guy Hodges.

William leaves to cherish his memory his wife; Nora Michael, 1 son; Terry Michael, 3 daughters; Tara Michael, Latricia Michael and Shelby Nowak (Jason), 1 brother; David Montgomery, 2 sisters; Daisey Brown and Nailah Matthews, 4 grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Public visitation will be held on Monday, October 8, 2018 at Ivy K. Gillespie Memorial Chapel, 1865 Eastern Ave. SE, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at East Leonard Christian Reformed Church, 1027 Leonard St, NE, at 12:00 noon. Friends may meet with the family one hour prior to services at 11:00 AM.
