Joyce R. Humphrey, age 61, was born March 22, 1957 in Long Island, New York to Melton and Senora Winfield.

Joyce departed this life on September 25, 2018 in Grand Rapids, Michigan and was preceded in death by her parents.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband; Ventson L. Humphrey, Sr., children; Ventson L. Humphrey, II and Samantha Brown, brothers; Robert Haggard. Michael Winfield and Bryan Foster, 2 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Public visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Ivy K. Gillespie Memorial Chapel, 1865 Eastern Ave SE, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Uptown Assembly of God Church, 1470 Lake Dr. SE, at 1:00 PM. Friends may meet with the family one hour prior to services at 12:00 noon.
