Bernice Rodgers, age 77, was born June 19, 1941 in Blissville, Arkansas to Frank Rodgers and Lilian Rodgers.

Bernice was preceded in death by her father; Frank Rodgers, 1 son; Robey Ray, 1 brother; Larry Rodgers, and 1 sister; Shirley Arrington. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother; Lilian Rodgers, 2 sons; Quint Ray, and Ricky Ray, 3 daughters; Starla Harris, Liza Guyton, and Crystal Ray, 3 brothers; Frank Rodgers, Curtis Rodgers, and Robert Rodgers, 2 sisters; Earnestine Long, and Linda Hitchock, 42 grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

Public visitation will be held Friday, August 17, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Ivy K Gillespie Memorial Chapel, 1865 Eastern Avenue SE, Grand Rapids, MI, 49507, Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, August 17, 2018 at Ivy K Gillespie Memorial Chapel as well, at 1:00 PM. Friends may meet with the family one half hour prior to service at 1:30 PM.
