Yvette Denise Day, age 51, was born September 27, 1966 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to John and Shirley Day.

Yvette departed this life on May 21, 2018 in Grand Rapids, Michigan and was preceded in death by her father John Day, Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memory her mother; Shirley Day, daughters; Dominique Forbes, Mercedes Day and Mikeya Day, brother; John Day, Jr., sisters; Nicole Day and Raquel Day, 9 grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Ivy K. Gillespie Memorial Chapel, 1865 Eastern Ave SE, at 12:00 noon.
