Darrin Eugene Bonds, Sr., age 47, was born February 25, 1971 to Emmitt Bonds, Jr. and Annie Jones in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Darrin departed this life on May 9, 2018 and was preceded in death by his father; Emmitt Bonds, Jr. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother; Annie Jones, sons; Darrin Bonds, Jr., Javon Durr and Darrius West, daughters; Jasmine Bonds, Joslynn Curry, Jada Bonds, Danahya Bonds and Shauntay Tyler, brother; Tony Bonds, sisters; Yalonda Bonds and Cassandra Mosby (Robert), 8 grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Public visitation will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Ivy K. Gillespie Memorial Chapel, 1865 Eastern Ave SE, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Macedonia Baptist Church, 60 Dennis St. SE, at 12:00 Noon. Friends may meet with the family one hour prior to services at 11:00 AM.
