Obituary for Fred Raymond Taylor Sr.

Fred Raymond Taylor Sr., age 73, was born May 26, 1944 in Jackson, Tennessee to Joseph Taylor and Everlene Johnson.

Fred departed this life on February 6, 2018 in Grand Rapids, Michigan and was preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife; Dorothy Taylor, 1 son; Fred Raymond Taylor Jr., 4 brothers; Joe Lewis, Walter Louis, Isareal Charles, and William Ray Taylor, 6 sisters; Elzia DeBose, Nancy Taylor, Earline Taylor, Bobbie Taylor, Carolyn Phine Taylor, and Sandra May Taylor, 1 grandchild; Fred Raymond Taylor III, and a host of other family and friends.

Public Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at the Ivy K Gillespie Memorial Chapel, 1865 Eastern Avenue SE, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at True Light Baptist Church, 900 Thomas Street SE, at 12:00 PM. Family and friends may meet one hour prior to services at 11:00 AM.
