Obituary for Dorothy Elaine Sanders

Dorothy was born to Cecil and Lanora Norman in Morton Twp., Mecosta, MI on January 10, 1936.

Dorothy left us to be with the Lord on December 24, 2017. She passed away peacefully in her home just as she wished. She was preceded in death by her son Harold Jr., son Darell Sanders, husband Harold Sanders, Sr. and son John Arthur.

Dorothy leaves to cherish her memory her brother that she was very close to Carl Norman, daughter Sheryl Sanders, son Lonnie (Julia), Ronnie and Randy Sanders of Grand Rapids, MI. She continued to Enrich the world with 29 grandchildren, 69 great grandchildren.

Public visitation will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Ivy K. Gillespie Memorial Chapel, 1865 Eastern Ave. SE, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, January 5, 2018 at Lamb of God church, 57 Rena SW, at 11:00 AM. Friends may meet with the family one hour prior to services at 10:00 AM.
