Henry Murclay Weaver, Jr., age 82, was born November 4, 1934 to Henry Sr. and Pauline Weaver in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Henry departed this life on September 12, 2017 in Grand Rapids, Michigan and was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother; Theodore E. Weaver.

Henry leaves to cherish his memory his wife; Shirley Weaver, 2 sons; Michael R. (Jeana) Weaver and David Weaver, 2 daughters; Sheryl Chatten and Terri (Sherman) McElwee, 2 brothers; Dewey A. (Deborah) Weaver and Paul E. Weaver, Sr., 2 sisters; Sybil E. Sprewer and Phyllis A. Roma, 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Public visitation will be held on Monday, September 18, 2017 at Ivy K. Gillespie Memorial Chapel, 1865 Eastern Ave. SE, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at True Light Baptist Church, 900 Thomas SE, at 11:00 AM. Friends may meet with the family one hour prior to services at 10:00 A.M.
