Bette Elaine Moody, age 65, was born November 24, 1951 in Saginaw Michigan to Floyd and Joye Boyd.

Bette departed this life in Grand Rapids, Michigan on March 22, 2017 and was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother; Bobbye Boyd.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, William, 2 brothers; Bruce and Brian, 4 sisters; Brenda, Bonita, Beverly and Belinda and a host of other family and friends.

Public visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Ivy K. Gillespie Memorial Chapel, 1865 Eastern Ave SE, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, March 30, 2017 at True Light Baptist Church, 900 Thomas SE, at 11:00 AM. Friends may meet with the family one hour prior to services at 10:00 AM.
