Rosie Cohen, age 80, was born February 21, 1937 in Mt. Bayou, Mississippi to Jim and Nannie Thomas.

She departed this life on March 18, 2017 in Grand Rapids, Michigan and was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Zack Cohen, Sr., 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sons; Zack, Jr., Joseph, Matthew and Thomas Cohen, her daughters; Machester King-Liddell, Rhoda Nelson, Shirley Cohen, Jamie Taliaferro, Jeannette Cohen and JoAnn Cohen, 1 brother; Nathaniel Thomas and a host of grandchildren and other family and friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, March 24, 2017 at Ivy K. Gillespie Memorial Chapel, 1865 Eastern Ave. SE, at 12:00 Noon. Friends may meet with the family one hour prior to services at 11:00 AM.
