He departed this life on March 6, 2017 in Grand Rapids, Michigan and was preceded in death by his parents.

Lawrence leaves to cherish his memory his wife; Judy Buck, 1 son; Kevin Buck (Ladietra), 3 daughters; Angela Buck, Kelly Williams and Kristy Buck, 1 brother; Richard Jackson (Ronna), 2 sisters; Brenda Buck and Marilyn Evans (Royce), 3 grandchildren and host of other family and friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Messiah Missionary Baptist Church, 513 Henry at 11:00 AM. Friends may meet with the family one hour prior to services at 10:00 am.
