Percy was born January 25, 1960 in Saginaw, Michigan to Louis and Rosa Lee Huell. He departed this life on March 2, 2017 in Grand Rapids, Michigan and was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers; Joseph, Michael and Louis Huell, Jr. and 1 sister; Calvita Miree.

Percy leaves to cherish his memory his wife; Jody Huell, his 2 sons; Mykal Huell and Percy Huell, Jr, 5 daughters; Nately Whitby (Johnny), Arlena Massenberg (Joshua), Latashia Jackson, Patricia Huell and Shontay Huell, 1 stepson; Rommie Whiteside, Jr., 2 stepdaughters; Judy Carter and Roshanda Whiteside, 1 brother; Thomas Huell (Sarah), 1 sister; Mary Williams (Albert), 21 grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

Public viewing will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Ivy K. Gillespie Memorial Chapel, 1865 Eastern Ave SE, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, March 10, 2017 at Ivy K. Gillespie Memorial Chapel at 1:00 PM. Friends may meet with the family one hour prior to services at 12:00 Noon.
