May Jehovah, the God of all comfort, (2Corintians 1:3,4) comfort you in your time of need. His word assures us at Isaiah 33:24 that one day there will be no more sickness and at Isaiah 25:8 and Revelation 21:4, that one day death will be no more. At John 5:28,29, Jesus himself said that there will be a resurrection of those loss in death. And Psalms 37:29 guarantees that they will live again on a cleansed earth. GOD bless you family in the name of JESUS. If at all possible I would like for someone to share the following with the assembled at our Mothers funeral, preferably one of my boys; In spite of my, moments, of overwhelming sorrow I am yet standing fast on hope, joy and comfort, convinced that GOD ALMIGHTY, omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient through HIS foreknowledge determined, before the foundation of the world, that by obedience to HIS WORD, [ which is the only possible evidence that is in one's heart that he or she believes GOD ], that all of mankind would be granted the potential to become blameless and harmless children of GOD, who would then have the GOD given ability to shine as lights in this world. Well I submit to you saints, siblings and all who are present and honoring our beloved Mother and wife\widow of a light bearing saint himself, that I thank GOD, our Father, in the name of JESUS for allowing us the privledge to have been shined upon and brought up by these two illuminating angels. The WORD of truth informs us that, we who believe, are unto GOD a sweet fragrance of CHRIST. Now compound that blessing along with the blessing that Mommy was beautiful, sweet, kind, forgiving, faithful, gentle, joyful, patient, disciplined,loving and always thoughtful of others with her heart faithfully stayed on the LORD. Mommy was certainly the embodiment of a living, walking epistle and ambassador for CHRIST. Because of her rejoicing evermore,praying without ceasing and giving thanks in everything, thereby fulfilling the will of GOD in CHRIST JESUS concerning her, the effectual fervent prayers that she [ a righteous woman ] made for me specifically, availed much. JESUS' stripes, crucifixion, burial, resurrection and ascension gave me and the entire world the opportunity and privledge to be reconciled unto GOD and I thank the LORD once again today that before my Mommy went to sleep in CHRIST, she was fully persuaded that I, my siblings and many others whom she loved, have entered into this magnificent rest as well. I could continue on for days speaking and sharing pleasantries concerning my precious mother and by the grace of GOD I look forard to doing just that with many of you soon. For now though I'll close with this. My Mommy was one of the first two people that I fell in LOVE with, [ my Pop's being the other ], and I'm just so thankful to GOD yet again for allowing me to have been born to my wonderful parents and this loving family. The love of GOD in my renewed mind in manifestation [ agape' love ] provides me with the comfort of knowing that next when Daddy and Mommy awaken, they will be in the presence of the LORD and will forever be with HIM, with no more pain or tears. I am fully convinced that at that time I will see them again in their glorified bodies, as will all who believe. May the GOD of mercies bless you all with peace and comfort in CHRIST JESUS our LORD.
