Jessica Kay Goodson, age 72, was born May 7, 1944 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Jess and Blanche Upton.

Kay departed this life on December 13, 2016 in Staten Island, New York and was preceded in death by her parents, sister; Virginia Anne Coleman and nephew Lonnie Darren Coleman.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 54 years; Eurschell Goodson, her children; Mark and Nicole Goodson, her godchildren; Amara and Chad, and a host of other family and friends.

Public viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Ivy K. Gillespie Memorial Chapel, 1865 Eastern Ave., from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 11:00 AM. at Ivy K. Gillespie Memorial Chapel. Friends may meet with the family one hour prior to services.
