Obituary for Edward Lee Dix, Jr.

Edward Edward Lee Dix, Jr. arrived in the arms of his Lord and Savior on the evening of April 4, 2016.

He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 36 years - Diane, three sons - William Dix of Boise ID and Nehemiah and Isaiah Dix of Grand Rapids MI, four siblings of Accomac VA, three grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at the Ivy K. Gillespie Memorial Chapel, 1865 Eastern Ave. S.E. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Messiah Missionary Baptist Church, 513 Henry S.E. Family hour will take place at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Jerry Bishop, officiating.
