Pem Vinson Jr. was born July 24th, 1952 in Memphis Tennessee to Pem Vinson Sr. and Flora Gilmore.

He leaves behind his legacy to his 3 sons: Robert Davis, Rasheed Vinson, and Jacob Vinson, 2 daughters; Pamela Davis, and Markeia(Rich)Prepetit, 5 brother; James(Gwen)Vinson, Daniel(Angie)Frazier, Donald(Ronda)Robinson, and Shelley Vinson,5 sisters; Tence(Donald)Graves, Gloria(Alfred)Ollison, Pamela Vinson, Lawanda Vinson, and Rasheeda Vinson, 12 grandchildren, and 3 Great grandchildren.

Pem worked in construction as a carpenter.

Public visitation will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Ivy K Gillespie Memorial Chapel, 1865 Eastern Ave SE. Funeral Service is scheduled for Friday, March 18, 2016 at Ivy K Gillespie Memorial Chapel as well at 12:00 PM. Family Hour will begin at 11:00 AM before the service.
