Vilma Vazquez was born July 31, 1948 in Santurce, Puerto Rico to Benjamin Gomez and Victoria Bonilla.

Vilma departed this life on March 5, 2015 and leaves to cherish her memory her children; Marco Antonio Vazquez, Jose M. Vazquez, Hector Vazquez and Madelyn Vazquez-Johnson, daughter in-law; Bernice Rivera, brothers; Otoniel Gomez-Bonilla, Omar Gomez-Bonilla, Daniel Gomez-Bonilla and Edwin Gomez-Bonilla, 3 grandchildren, one great grandchild, her bestfriend; Iris Rios and a host of other family and friends.

Public visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Ivy K Gillespie Memorial Chapel, 1865 Eastern, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 3:00 PM. Friends may meet with the family one hour prior to services at 2:00 PM.
